Ok, my Nassau County, NYC and Long Island peeps, do I have a swank and absolutely indulgent new JustHave to share with you!
Last month, I decided I was due for a little bride-to-be pampering. So, my sister and I went of to try a nearby spa called Truth + Beauty in Roslyn Heights. Ladies (and gents), this place… this PLACE! Not only is it absolutely stunning from the moment you arrive (check out the pics!), it’s relaxing as every spa should be – but there’s so much more to it than that. This place has a philosophy that resonates with every treatment and interaction we had with the staff. I like how they put it on the spa’s website: “A self-esteem boost is complimentary with every treatment.”
They delivered on that promise.
One of the truly unique things that sets Truth + Beauty apart as a spa is that they’re also deeply rooted in science. They combine the latest cosmetic technologies with an artistic skill. With a double-board certified plastic surgeon – Dr. Jennifer Levine – on staff, the spa’s services are safe, effective and tailored to each client, no matter their age, and at multiple price points.
When we walked in, we had an idea of what we wanted, but weren’t precisely sure. Luckily, the medical aestheticians on site were able to give us a really thorough consultation and guide us on the services that would achieve the results we wanted – and fit our budget. Whether you want to reduce redness, tighten that turkey neck, receive fillers, get rid of unwanted hair or merely learn how to give your skin what it needs in order to look its best, the folks here can help you find the ideal solution.
Now for the yummy services we received:
I had a 30 minute Renewing Facial to stimulate collagen production and was then given a bit of “Truth Serum” to minimize some pesky brown spots. It was divine and the best part – no downtime. So, I was able to walk out of the spa with my (renewed) face forward.
My sister Sara had what’s called a Moderate Facial Intensive which is a 60-minute treatment featuring a chemical peel, collagen stimulating mask, truth serum for cell renewal and an invigorating oxygenating massage. The best part –besides looking years younger– was that unlike other chemical peels, she didn’t have to worry about downtime either.
And, yes, they do Botox, Fillers & Lasers too. My sis and I just aren’t quite there yet…hopefully this treatment and the improved skincare regimens that our consultants worked with us to create will help to push that inevitability off for a few more years!
