It seems that no matter where I’ve visited in the country these past few months – and I’ve been all over the map, from Kansas City to Philly to San Diego (whew!) – Spring was pretty much passed over by summer.

I’m not complaining. This winter was brutal…but these insta-hot temps did put me into a bit of a panic because– GAH! – bikini season is pretty much here.

How about we fool everyone into thinking we’ve been prepping all winter long? Check out my JustHaves to help you sculpt, protect and play your way to a beach beautiful summer!

Talk about a fast-forward button. Check this out – it’s called the CoolSculpting procedure (http://www.coolsculpting.com). The unique technology uses controlled cooling to freeze and eliminate unwanted fat cells in the tummy, love handles and thighs without surgery or downtime. The procedure is FDA-cleared, safe and effective. I’ve been told the results can be seen in as little as three weeks and are lasting and undeniable. Stay tuned for my upcoming blog on my Dermatologist consultation and a future one on my own procedure.

One of the easiest and most fun places to add a bit of summer fun is on your fingers and toes! With so many summer shades – 35 custom mixed – Nonie Creme’s Colour Prevails Nail Lacquer costs just $8 at any Walgreens, so you can mix and match to your heart’s content all season long.

Insider Tip: For a super long-lasting mani or pedi, here’s the company’s suggested procedure: Apply a layer of Mannequin Hands CC Creme Base Coat over clean nails. Next, apply two coats of nail lacquer, leaving time in between coats to dry. Finish with a coat of Lacquer Locker Topcoat or, for a Matte finish, apply instead a coat of Matte Finish Topcoat over nail color.
